Classic Carriers luggage racks and accessories come with a two-year limited warranty against manufacturing and production defects. The waranty covers the rack or accessory being fitted to the vehicle for which it was designed, and the customer agrees to use the product properly, observing weight limits of the luggage rack. The owner is responsible for proper installation per the written and diagram instructions.

If the customer believes there is a warranty issue, s/he will contact the dealer where the luggage rack or accessory was purchased. If the dealer believes the product defective due to manufacturiung problems, the dealer will return the product to the manufacturer, and manufacturer will issue a replacement rack and/or accessory to the customer. Normal wear and tear is not covered under this warranty, nor is loading the rack with more than its weight rating.

The owner recognizes that Classic Carriers or its dealers have no control over the installation or use of the luggage carriers or accessories, and accordingly Classic Carriers or its dealers cannot be held responsible, or have liability arising from, the effects of:

improper or overweight loads;      loads not balanced or secured properly      unauthorized modification or alterations      improper use (like a tow-rope mount) or maintenance      neglect; accident; negligence; damage; or theft      injury or damage to any person, vehicle or property

The warranty covers only the luggage rack and accessories, and not the loss or theft of property being conveyed and/or unsecured.

This warranty period is for the original purchaser only, and is non-transferable.

Under no circumstances shall Classic Carriers or its dealers be liable for damages in excess of the cost of the luggage rack and/or accessories plus return shipping costs; this includes time, inconvenience, commercial loss, lost profits or savings, or any incidental, special, consequential, direct or indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use these products.
